Evaluation for my 'Me, My Book & I'

In the ‘Me, My book and I’ project, I really struggled as I left the project on the last two months in order for me to do it, even though the project was set around October. The reason for this is because, I thought that I had ages to do it, which I did, but most work was due around the same time as the me, my book and I project, so working on it was quite quick and rough which I did not intend to do.
Getting influenced with my designs was not as difficult as I have imagined it to be, as there are variety of genre’s to research in to and combined the ideas, techniques and style together. From illustrators to sculptures, I research artists, with particular style and techniques and I tried to incorporate them in to my designs.
Out of the three final pieces that I did, I was really pleased on how the first two book is finished, as the illustrations on them are strong and it has that silhouette effect on them. However, I was not to pleased with the third book, as I know I kinda rushed in to it, without planning it as much as the previous two. It is also plain, containing numbers that shows my date of birth unlike the images that relates to me.
If I did this project again, there are things that I would change. Firstly, I would experiment more with different materials, perhaps achieve a different outcome and a more effective one. And secondly, I would plan my work better before doing it, as well as manage my time management better, rather than doing is on the last few months.
Overall all, I am pleased on the majority of my final outcomes and how my progress was for this project. I could of done more outcomes, if I have not left it late as I did.

Font Research

I have decided to choose a font rather than creating my own font for my project on my gig poster.
I went to the site www.dafont.com and gathered fonts that I particularly think would fit my poster design.
In the fancy column I have chosen old school and picked the font today, nightstalker and wanted. In the same column I chose western and picked bleeding cowboys and finally in the same column again, I chose eroded and picked birth of a hero.
