Rod Hunt

Illustrator

Rod Hunt who is a well known illustrator came down PCAD and did a lecture about his work, the style of work he creates, where he worked for, how he got there, advises and more.
I liked his work as many doesn't have similar work compared to his, so it's quite unique to his own personal  icon.
He worked for a lot of companies such as Kellogg's, Barclays, etc, so he's work is quite known world wide.
He is well known for his maps work, such as Chessington world of adventures map.

Nia Gould 'Niaski'

Graphic Designer

A graphic designer gave a presentation in one of our lecture. It was good as she also had skills as an illustrator.
She showed us some of her work, which relates to how she developed them from when she was looking for a job, getting commissioned and until now when she's the head designer for Exeter Phoenix.

3 illustrations

I started doing a small continuous line drawing of landscape for the original drawing. I then decided to develop that further in to 3 illustrations with the chosen conversation that I over heard. Using watercolours to quickly highlight key colour points of the illustration and used photoshop to enhance those colours and perhaps add shadows and tones, which resulted to these illustrations.
